WHO WE ARE
Puyvast Chartering BV, a first class service provider, was founded in 1991. Puyvast started their shipping activities with a focus on the granite and timber trade. Since the start, Puyvast has been one of the largest granite carriers worldwide. Apart from granite transport Puyvast has a focus on world wide tramping.
OUR SERVICES
Granite transport is the core business of Puyvast since 1991. We ship granite blocks in break bulk from India and South Africa to China, Europe and the Mediterranean on a regular basis. Annually we carry more than 1 million tons of granite in these trades.
Puyvast has vast experience handling break bulk cargoes. Break bulk parcels are regularly carried as completion cargoes or as stand alone parcels. With our team of supercargoes and stevedores we can service any break bulk requirement.
Over the years Puyvast has carried many project cargoes worldwide. With a particular interest in the energy and mining industry Puyvast has carried windmill equipment, shovels, train wagons, generators and dismantled factories to name a few.
Puyvast is particularly known for its expertise in carrying bulk cargoes. Either worldwide or in combination with the existing service lines. We have a focus on parcelling on Handysize ships upto full Ultramax shipments.
OUR REGIONAL OFFICES
The Indian head office of Puyvast Maritime India is domiciled in Bangalore and acts as general agent for India. From here Indian commercial and operational activities are undertaken. This includes cargo bookings, port agencies, granite stockyards and stevedoring activities are controlled and managed.
Puyvast Maritime India has its own offices in the main Indian ports such as Kakinada, Krishnapatnam, Vizag, Kandla, Tuticorin, Goa, Chennai en Mangalore.

To continue providing a high service level to our clients, Puyvast founded Joy Fortune Shipping and Services in Xiamen. From our office in Xiamen we undertake both commercial and operational activities for the Chinese market.
From our office in Xiamen we service the ports of Xiamen, Shihu and Quanzhou.

In order to further strengthen our position in the granite market and to provide a better service to our clients, Puyvast founded Transocean Logistics in Taiwan. From our Taiwanese office we undertake both commercial and operational activities which are focussed on the local market.
